Customer Reviews
Always a reliable choice
This was our third time visiting Eureka! Science + Discovery Wirral, and it was just as good as our previous visits. We always go for the annual pass, it's such good value. This time, we focused more on The Body Hub, which was really interactive. They've kept it consistent, which is why we keep coming back. Booking was simple, and entry was quick. No surprises, just a solid family day out as usual.
Good for the budget
I was looking for something affordable to do with the kids during the holidays, and Eureka! Halifax popped up. The standard admission automatically turned into an annual pass, which felt like a really good deal. We spent most of our time in the Early Years Gallery and the kids seemed to like the Sensory Toys from the Museum Shop too. It felt like we got our money's worth for sure. I wouldn't have gone otherwise, but the annual pass was a great incentive.
Good family day out
We bought admission to Eureka! Halifax for the kids. It was a good experience. Lots of things for them to interact with. Booking was straightforward online. We will likely go again next year.
Fun time at Eureka! Wirral
So, we took the little ones to Eureka! Science + Discovery Wirral last weekend, and it was pretty cool. The kids had a blast exploring all the different exhibits, especially the Homes of the Future bit. It wasn't too crowded, which was nice. Made for a chill day out, definitely recommend if you're looking for something to do with the fam.
Decent value, room for improvement
We visited Eureka! Halifax and purchased the annual pass conversion. The kids enjoyed the Sparking Discovery Gallery quite a bit, and there was plenty to keep them occupied. The Cafe Meals were a bit pricey for what they were, honestly, but the food was edible. Parking was a bit of a hassle too, took a while to find a spot. Overall, a good day out for the price, especially with the annual pass, but they could definitely work on the food options and parking situation.
Absolutely fantastic experience!
Oh my goodness, we had the BEST time at Eureka! Halifax yesterday! We spent hours in the Living and Working Together Gallery and the kids just loved it. Every single exhibit was so engaging and well thought out. It was easy to book our tickets online and check-in was super smooth. We're already planning our next trip back, the annual pass conversion is brilliant. I've told all our friends they have to visit!

Heard about this annual pass thing. If I buy a regular day ticket, does it automatically become an annual pass or do I need to do something extra to get that?
Thinking of taking the kids to Eureka! in Halifax during October half term. Is it going to be absolutely mobbed? Trying to figure out if we need to book way ahead.
Can you actually use Tesco Clubcard vouchers for tickets at Eureka! or is it just for the shop or something?
Thinking about getting an annual pass but also eyeing up Magna Science Centre. Anyone been to both and can say which is better for a 7-year-old?
Is Eureka! Halifax any good for really little ones? Got a 2-year-old and wondering if there's enough for them to do or if it's more for older kids.
